MORE FLIGHTS AND LARGER PLANES: MKE PREPARES FOR 2024 RNC AMIDST BUSY SUMMER TRAVEL SEASON
MILWAUKEE (June 10, 2024) – –Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) is gearing up for the summer travel season as Milwaukee prepares to host the 2024 Republican National Convention this July. Airlines are adding more flights and upgrading to larger aircraft while MKE is planning for additional staffing and volunteers to accommodate the expected influx of travelers.

TSA PRECHECK ENROLLMENTS NOW AVAILABLE THROUGH CLEAR AT MKE
MILWAUKEE (June 5, 2024) – –Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport now offers the ability to enroll in TSA PreCheck without an appointment. Eligible adult U.S. citizens can enroll by visiting any CLEAR kiosk at MKE seven days a week between the hours of 6:00am-6:00pm.

SUN COUNTRY AIRLINES ANNOUNCES FLIGHTS FROM MKE TO JAMAICA AND DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
MILWAUKEE (May 21, 2024) – –Sun Country Airlines today announced plans to add nonstop international service between Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) and two Caribbean destinations. The seasonal flights will operate during the peak winter and spring break periods beginning in December.

SPIRIT AIRLINES ANNOUNCES FLIGHTS FROM MKE TO DALLAS
MILWAUKEE (May 1, 2024) – –Ultra-low fare carrier Spirit Airlines today announced plans to add nonstop service between Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) this summer. The seasonal flights will begin July 11 and will operate on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

AIRLINES TO OFFER MASSIVE SPRING BREAK FLIGHT SCHEDULE FROM MKE TO WARM-WEATHER DESTINATIONS
MILWAUKEE (February 20, 2024) – –Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) is gearing up for hundreds of flights to vacation destinations, making spring break getaways easier and more convenient for Milwaukee-area travelers. During the month of March, airlines are planning approximately 360,000 departing seats from MKE, up from about 300,000 seats in February. March 2024 departing seats are also up 19% compared to March of 2023.

FRONTIER ANNOUNCES NONSTOP FLIGHTS TO PHILADELPHIA
MILWAUKEE (February 7, 2024) – –Ultra-low fare carrier Frontier Airlines today announced plans to add nonstop service between Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) this spring. The flights begin May 16 and will operate on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays on an Airbus A320 aircraft.
