MKE AND MAKE-A-WISH WISCONSIN PARTNER ON NEW CHILDREN'S PLAY AREAS ON CONCOURSE C & D
MILWAUKEE (March 20, 2025) – – Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) and Make-A-Wish Wisconsin came together on Thursday to unveil brand new children’s play areas located on both Concourse C and D. The remodeled spaces, now officially branded as the Make-A-Wish Kids Zones, feature updated play equipment, new paint and décor, and new custom carpeting.

SPIRIT AIRLINES ANNOUNCES NONSTOP FLIGHTS FROM MKE TO LOS ANGELES, BALTIMORE & NASHVILLE
MILWAUKEE (March 17, 2025) – –Spirit Airlines will add nonstop weekend service between Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) and Los Angeles, Baltimore, and Nashville this summer. In addition, Spirit is making these new Milwaukee flights affordable with introductory fares as low as $74 to Los Angeles, $62 to Baltimore, and $60 to Nashville. The new flights will operate to/from MKE twice per week.

MKE CELEBRATES LAUNCH OF NONSTOP FLIGHTS TO AUSTIN, TEXAS ON SOUTHWEST AIRLINES

MKE IMPROVES FLIGHT PLANNING WITH 'WHERE WE FLY' TOOL

MKE’s website now offers a “Where We Fly” module, allowing users to explore Milwaukee’s 30+ nonstop destinations, compare flight times and airlines, and book their flight, all in one place.

SOUTHWEST EXPANDS NONSTOP SAN DIEGO SERVICE
MILWAUKEE (February 6, 2025) – – Southwest Airlines is expanding its nonstop service between MKE and San Diego this fall. Beginning October 2, Southwest will fly the route five days per week.

MKE SURPASSES 6.3 MILLION PASSENGERS IN 2024
MILWAUKEE (February 3, 2025) – – Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport’s (MKE) passenger traffic numbers continued to soar in 2024 as the Airport saw a 5% increase in travelers compared to the previous year. In addition to welcoming more passengers, MKE also introduced new air service and added amenities and concessions options throughout the year.
