MKE GEARS UP FOR BUSY WINTER HOLIDAY TRAVEL SEASON

With new nonstop flights added over the last year, and flight frequencies increasing during the month of December, MKE is prepared to welcome more than 250,000 arriving and departing holiday travelers between now and the end of the year.

MKE WINS HIGHEST AIRPORT INDUSTRY MARKETING AWARD
MILWAUKEE (November 15, 2023) – –Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) has been awarded its first-ever Peggy G. Hereford Award from Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA). The award is widely recognized as the highest honor an airport can receive in marketing and public relations. The 2023 contest had a record 330 submissions from airports throughout North America.

SOUTHWEST ANNOUNCES NONSTOP FLIGHTS FROM MKE TO SAN DIEGO
MILWAUKEE (October 27, 2023) – – Southwest Airlines will add nonstop service between Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) and San Diego International Airport (SAN) next summer. The flights will operate every Saturday beginning June 8, 2024 on full-size Boeing 737-700 aircraft.
