Public Transportation
The Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) Green Line and Route 80 provide service from MKE Airport to downtown Milwaukee and many other neighborhoods throughout Milwaukee County. Amtrak’s Hiawatha Line offers seven round trips daily from MKE to downtown Milwaukee and to Chicago.

We suggest arriving two hours before your flight, but with dozens of restaurants, bars and retail shops, plus the first beer garden inside a U.S. airport, you may want to get here even earlier. After passing through TSA, don’t forget to pick up some fresh cheese curds, a Cheesehead and our local Spotted Cow beer, which is only sold in Wisconsin.
